Pool Remodel Project
Reyes Sacramento Plastering Project
Pool Before Demo & Remodel Started
Before
Here is a project we just finished after 7 weeks in Sacramento, CA. It consisted of removing the pool decking surrounding the swimming pool, stripping the existing pool plaster, and removing the pool tile.
This customer wanted to add a few water features. We added 3 water sheer descents to the raised walls and 2 deck jets to the pool. We also added color LED lights and a heat pump so they can extend the pool swim season.
Plaster Strip-Out and Remodel Process
Strip-out is not blasting, as blasting is not stripping. Blasting can rough up the old plaster and remove loose plaster, but does not reveal what is under the old plaster, such as hollows, gunite issues, etc. A complete strip-out is best for delamination problems, soft chemically absorbed plaster, etc. Sac Pool Pros will not take any shortcuts when re-plastering your swimming pool.
Finished Product
This customer went with a mini pebble pool finish.
