Terrain, Slope, and Vanishing Edge Design

Sacramento Pool Pros was tasked with a backyard project that had significant terrain issues. There was about a 6′ difference in slope from the top of where the pool was going to be to the bottom, and this customer wanted their backyard and around their swimming pool all flat with a vanishing edge pool.

Gunite, Rebar, PVC, Lighting, and Spa Details

Sac Pool Pros shot about 120 yards of gunite into this swimming pool in Sacramento, CA. It took about 3 1/2 days to shoot with all the details and to make sure the vanishing edge wall was perfectly straight for the tile and masonry department to get in there and do their work.

This swimming pool also took about 4 tons of rebar and 1 mile of PVC pipe. There are 41 LED lights in this swimming pool, with 12 of them down low to light up the vanishing edge basin, and 18 jets in the spa so that there will be plenty of therapy relief.

Luxury Pool Lighting

When building this swimming pool in Sacramento, CA, lighting was very important. The goal was to make the yard glow, so plenty of lights were added in the pool and in between each bar stool at the negative edge. Because the bar stools and vanishing edge wall of the pool are made from glass tile, it has a beautiful glow at night.

Lighting is everything at Sac Pool Pros. The goal was to capture this amazing glass wall without making it too bright or annoying when sitting down in the fire pit area. When choosing the lighting for the swimming pool basin, Sac Pool Pros worked with Jandy Pool Products and installed their new Infinite pool lights, which gave the option to dim the basin lights down to 1% all the way up to 100%, creating a subtle glow down low.
